Towards a green and socialist Republic of India
A cap and share of greenhouse gases!
A national guaranteed minimum wage!
The world is in the process of adapting to inevitable and rapidly accelerating runaway climate change. The Green Party of India proposes a Cap and Share of India's Greenhouse Gas Emissions to reduce India's emissions to Net Zero Green House Gas Emissions by 2020.
The money raised from selling permits to the few large primary producers of oil, coal and gas ( who are licensed by the Government of India to extract the country's fossil fuel mineral resources) will be used to finance a National Guaranteed Minimum Wage to enable a peaceful transition to decentralised ecological production based on frugality, science and a correct pricing structure to eliminate looting by government sponsored corporate Raubwirtschaft.
Th purpose is, to find our way to realising the dream of the socialist Republic of India in order, as Marx said to achieve :
"Freedom, in the realm of natural necessity, [which] can consist only in this, that socialized man, the associated producers, govern the human metabolism with nature in a rational way, bringing it under their own collective control rather than being dominated by it as a blind power; accomplishing it with the least expenditure of energy and in conditions most worthy and appropriate for their human nature”.

Marx was most definitely against 'economist' reforms such as minimum wages, and far from favouring frugality he said that communism meant a complete abundance of all goods.
So far all the 'eco-socialists' I have met seem to read and quote Marx very selectively, looking for words which appear to justify their own ideology.
