Now for our younger viewers - Environmental Terrorism

Continuing the theme of aeroplanes as weapons, I took this footage in west London on my lunch break.

The tall structures (dead flowers in an allotment), the blue sky, the plane, the fraying leaves and the sound of aircraft engines all reminded me of 9/11. But to me the planes looked weedy (weak joke, sorry), puny, pathetic, incapable of causing destruction.

I was going to try and edit the film, cut my flapping coat and shoes, but I changed my mind - there is something about the fleeing shoes that make me think of guilt, I can't explain why.

Of course the shoe bomber Richard Reid. Does he remind you of someone you knew at school?

Wild guess. Also the shots of people walking away from the scene of a crime in murder mysteries - with the slow reveal.
